Sync status

Sync status shows when your mail and your LinkedIn import last ran. You connect a mailbox from Settings; Gmail access is read-only (creating drafts in Gmail is a separate, optional permission), and Grenier reads the full message text — not just the headers — though a sync keeps only who wrote to whom and when — plus, from LinkedIn and Facebook notification emails, the job changes and birthdays of people in your contacts; and, for a sender not yet in your contacts, just their address and how many of their messages were held back. Syncing one person from their page also rebuilds that person's relationship profile, which sends their recent messages to an AI model.

After you grant access, Grenier pulls new contacts, messages, and events on the next sync and the status updates with the timestamp of the most recent successful run.

If a source shows an error or a stale timestamp, re-connect it from Settings or check that the account permissions are still in place.
